Environmental Policy

The commitment of Fagor Electronica S. Coop to Environmental protection and sustainable development started some years ago.

The Company Mission in this area is defined as:
> To meet all present and future national and international statutory requirements and
> To improve, regularly and continuously, the performance of our products, processes, distribution and operating systems with respect to their impact on the health and safety of our employees and the public, as well as their impact on the environment.

Inside this framework and within the environmental policy, there are two areas of particular concern:
> Ozone Depleting Substances
> Restriction of the use of Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronics equipment, Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and Council of 27 January 2003, widely known as RoHS Directive.
