1959

  • We started to manufacture selenium grinding machines and plates under the name of División Electrónica de Ulgor, S. Coop.

 

 

1964

  • Implementation of the first production line of silicon grinding machines.
  • That same year, our first own research laboratory was created.

 

 

1966

  • Fagor Electrotécnica was registered as an independent cooperative and began its activity in the building of the División Electrónica de Ulgor, S.C.I., where Fagor Automation is currently to be found.

 

 

1967

  • Manufacture began of UHF dials and VHF selectors.
  • The semi-conductors activity eliminated license contracts for the production of microchips.

 

 

1969

  • The first meetings were held of what would later be the Social Board.
  • Fagor Electrónica was the forefather of the Social Boards.

 

 

1974

  • The Automation Division of Tool Machines was created within Fagor Electrónica.

 

 

1976

  • The production of TV components and automations for tool machines was moved from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor (currently the Fagor Electrónica headquarters).

 

 

1977

  • The Low Frequency Circuits Dept. was created.

 

 

1979

  • The first electronic programmer for kitchens and domestic use ovens were introduced along with the boiler thermostat.

 

 

1980

  • The Automation Division started its solitary venture, establishing itself as Aurki, S. Coop, now Fagor Automation.

 

 

1988

  • Fagor Electrónica created the first Asian branch office of the Mondragon Corporation in Hong Kong.

 

 

1991

  • Semi-conductors developed processes to manufacture the Hyperectifier.
  • Official certification of the first products for TV Reception.

 

 

1992

  • Opening of the new Production Plant in Thailand.

 

 

1993

  • Quality Certification ISO 9001 was achieved.

 

 

1993

  • Development of the first Programmable Selective Amplifier on the market and one of the most important milestones in the field of television reception.

 

 

1994

  • Beginning of the productive configuration in cells.
  • Participation in various European research projects.
  • Application of the EFQM Excellence Model.

 

 

1998

  • Manufacturing of SMDs in Semi-conductors.
  • Incorporation of digital technology in the TV Reception range.
  • Awarded Silver Q (EFQM).

 

 

2000

  • First Sales of Thyristers.
  • Creation of the Electronic Subcontracting Business.
  • Continuous Improvement Award.
  • Certification QS-900 was achieved.
  • Implementation of ERP-SAP in Mondragon.
  • Creation of the floats management business.

 

 

2001

  • Creation of the floats management business.
  • New activity of Wireless Communications.

 

 

2002

  • Environmental Certification ISO 14001 was achieved.

 

 

2004

  • Certification ISO/TS 16949 for the motor vehicle market was achieved.
  • Creation of the Flotasnet platform for float management.

 

 

2007

  • Implementation of ERP-SAP in Thailand.

 

 

2011

  • First sales of the Floats business abroad.


2012-2016

  • Beginning of the implementation of PDM (Product Data Management)
  • Manufacture begins in the SE business in Thailand.
  • The Semiconductors and EMS businesses were geared toward the automation market, with a growth in sales to clients related to the sector.
  • First thyristor assembly lines in Thailand.
  • Launch of the new header 8000 series in the Signal Treatment business.
  • 1st project in compliance with ISO Standard 26262 (functional safety in automation)
  • Thailand plant achieved the ISO14001.
